OK - I can't guarantee I'm going to do this, but I've decided to try to listen to all of the albums that make up Robert Dimery's '1001 albums to hear before you die'. In order. Having said this, I'm only going to listen to the albums currently on Spotify, which isn't exactly all of them but still contains a lot - just the 60s has almost 4 days worth of continuous music. Luckily, some kind person has created playlists for the 50s and 60s so this will keep me going for a while...
